About this site
Welcome to The Quiet Analysis. I am The Author.
I have decided to create this site under an anonymous name for multiple reasons, the most crucial being that I want my work to stand for itself. Attaching my name, my identity, could alter how my work is understood, better or worsen criticism, or completely shut down my arguments on more controversial topics. Would you ask someone straight about LGBTQ+ topics? How about a white man about the Black American women experience? No? I wouldn't either. Everyone brings a filter to what they consume; I'm not hiding, I'm changing variables.
I don't come from anywhere—or perhaps here and there. I've lived all over the country (USA). I've met so many different kinds of people, and through them, so many more. What that does to you is it makes patterns impossible to ignore. You start to see how the same thing lands completely differently depending on where you are and who you're standing next to. Or exactly the same, which is somehow even more interesting. This is what led me to studying both psychology and philosophy.
Understanding how everything impacts everything else can relieve so much pain. Yes, it sucks how so much can affect the way you live your life—but you don't have to accept it. You can change it back too, and understanding how those systems work is one of the most important steps toward improving them.
This site is a collection of my own analysis and opinions. I do not claim to have all of the answers; but I hope you, the reader, are willing to join me with an open mind as I dissect the systems we live in.
